The innovations of the SuperTechno 50+ include, among others:

• The new TechnoHeadS gyrostabilized head — lightweight, compact, and powerful — featuring motion repeat capability and data export. Compatible with other gyrostabilized heads (optional).

• A 20% increase in telescope speed, reaching up to 2 m/s (6.6 ft/s).

• Back-pan: Technology that maintains a constant camera orientation during crane movements.

• Planing: Automatic arc compensation technology using telescopic movement to keep the optical axis on a linear path during horizontal or vertical arm moves.

• Targeting: By defining a real or virtual target point, Targeting mode keeps the camera aimed at a fixed point in space regardless of the crane arm’s position. An intuitive on-screen crosshair system allows the grip technician to see the camera’s relative position to the (real or virtual) subject for precise manual operation.

• Data export: The ST50+ can export complete motion data in real time via encoders positioned on all crane, head, and camera axes. This live data output can drive rendering engines such as MotionBuilder, Unreal Engine, or QTAKE equipped with the 3D Previz module.

• A comprehensive accessory package including an advanced control console for complex applications, a simplified secondary console for standard use, and a perfectly adapted monitor mount for optimal operator viewing in demanding configurations.
